Japan Cycling Tour

Listening to the waves, feeling the sea breeze, and cycling in the middle of the ocean, crossing from Honshu to Shikoku over the Seto Inland Sea with your own two feet—this is the Shimanami Kaido, the holy land of cycling in Japan.

​The Shimanami Kaido consists of ten large bridges and seven small islands, combining highways, pedestrian paths, and bicycle lanes. While the sea-crossing bridges are undoubtedly captivating, we will also slow down and explore each small island together, experiencing the relaxed lifestyle they offer.

​At the end of March, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom in western Japan, we will specially visit several secret cherry blossom spots on the islands, enjoying the unique floral beauty in the middle of the sea.
